Unlock Your Body’s Natural Healing Power with TRE®

TRE® (Tension/Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a simple yet powerful practice that helps you release deeply-held stress, tension, and trauma stored in the body. Through a series of gentle movements, TRE® activates your body’s natural shaking mechanism, promoting relaxation, resilience, and a profound sense of well-being.

Working with me, you’ll be guided in a safe, supportive space to reconnect with your body and unlock lasting change. As a qualified TRE® practitioner and transformational coach, I bring years of experience in personal development, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Whether you’re looking to ease anxiety, improve sleep, recover from burnout, or simply feel more grounded, TRE® can help. Sessions are available in Bristol and online—you can book online now.

About me

My name is Dan Bartlett. Shaking found me through meditation. After a decade of practice, my body started rocking spontaneously. It was only much later that someone pointed me to TRE and the possibility of working with the tremors in a more profound way. Maybe you've also noticed your body shaking during yoga, psychedelics, dance or distressing situations? Shaking is a built-in healing response and one we can amplify with practice. Shaking helped me through severe burnout and unlocked a sense of embodiment I didn't know was possible. I did my training with Steve Haines, at the Body College in London, and have since started working with people 1:1, alongside my other work as a coach and writer.

How does it work?

We work together either in-person or over Zoom.

Sessions last one hour. I’ll ask a little about your background and—if you’re new to TRE—I’ll explain how it works and what you can expect.

Then we’ll work through some light exercises that will gently and safely bring on the tremors.

I’ll guide you through regulating this profound process and then we’ll have some time to discuss your experience at the end.
